At Salty Paws Co., everything we do is rooted in the belief that pets deserve more than just basic care. They deserve connection, comfort, and consistency. The kind of care that feels like home. We're not just animal lovers. We're pet parents, too.
We started this company because we couldn’t find pet care that felt personal — care that actually adapts to your pet, not the other way around. Most services felt rushed or rigid, and we were left wondering what really happened during the visit. So we built Salty Paws Co. to be different.
Whether it’s a daily walk, a drop-in, or overnight care, we show up for your pets the way we’d want someone to show up for ours. With consistency, clear communication, and a genuine love for animals. No checklists or cookie-cutter routines: just thoughtful, flexible care tailored to your pet’s unique needs.
Co-Founder, Pet Care Specialist
Hi, I’m Baylie — an Army veteran, animal lover, and founder of Salty Paws Co. I grew up in Texas with a house full of pets, and caring for animals quickly became second nature. That early bond with animals has stayed with me through every chapter of my life.
After serving in the U.S. Army, I decided to pursue a new path in healthcare and am currently working toward a career in the medical field. My time in the military taught me the importance of responsibility, trust, and showing up for others — values that continue to guide me in everything I do.
Pet care isn’t just a side job for me — it’s something I genuinely love. It gives me a way to stay connected to my roots, build trust with people in my community, and spend time with the animals that have always brought me joy.

Co-Founder, Business Operations
Hi, I’m Alyssa! I handle the behind-the-scenes side of Salty Paws Co.
We started this business because we couldn’t find pet care that felt personal enough for our own animals. Everything felt rushed or rigid, and we wanted something that actually adapted to the pets, not the other way around.
Before this, I served in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst and later moved into project management. That experience shaped how I approach things here: clear communication, reliable systems, and making sure nothing slips through the cracks. While I’m not the one out walking dogs, I’m the one keeping everything organized and running smoothly.
Salty Paws was built with love for our own crew: Ghost, our Carolina Dog, Poe, our orange cat, and Shrimp, our brown tabby. I know how much pets mean to a family, and I’m proud to help provide care that reflects that.
Stay Salty,
- Alyssa
