Repeated late cancellations may result in service limitations or discontinuation.
Short notice requests are those submitted after 8:00 PM for the following day or on the same calendar day as the service.
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking for:
Deposits become non-refundable within 24 hours of the start of service.
A $10 holiday surcharge per visit applies on all U.S. federal holidays and December 24 through January 1. If any visit in a booking falls on a holiday, holiday rates apply to the entire booking. Holiday pricing applies in addition to premium hour pricing where applicable.
A valid credit or debit card must be kept on file in your Time to Pet account at all times. Invoices are generated and charged automatically on the final day of the service period. Salty Paws Co. does not accept cash, checks, or peer-to-peer payment platforms.
By maintaining a payment method on file, you authorize Salty Paws Co. to charge all applicable service fees, cancellation fees, holiday premiums, deposits, and approved emergency expenses.
Services may be suspended or canceled for health or safety reasons. Services canceled due to undisclosed illness or infestation may be billed under the cancellation policy.
You are responsible for providing safe, uninterrupted access to your home. Salty Paws Co. is not liable for missed visits due to faulty locks, incorrect access information, alarm systems, or mechanical failures.
If your pet experiences illness, injury, or an emergency and you cannot be reached, Salty Paws Co. is authorized to seek veterinary care from a provider of its choosing and approve treatment deemed reasonably necessary by a licensed veterinarian. You accept full financial responsibility for all veterinary care, transportation, and related expenses incurred.
Services may be delayed, modified, or canceled due to severe weather, natural disasters, road closures, power outages, government restrictions, or other unsafe conditions. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate changes as soon as possible.
All services must be requested through the client portal and are subject to approval. Requests are not confirmed until formally accepted by Salty Paws Co. We reserve the right to decline, modify, or discontinue services due to safety concerns, scheduling limitations, weather, pet behavior issues, or failure to comply with this agreement.
Salty Paws Co. does not guarantee specific caregivers or exact visit start times, only the service window booked.
By booking services, you grant Salty Paws Co. permission to use photos or videos of your pet for marketing purposes, including our website and social media. You may opt out of this at any time by notifying us in writing at petcare@salty-pawsco.com.
Animals may behave unpredictably, and pet care involves inherent risks. Outdoor services including dog walks involve risks beyond our control such as traffic, other animals, weather, and uneven terrain.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Salty Paws Co., its owners, employees, and independent contractors from claims arising from injury or damage caused by the client's pet, failure to disclose health or behavioral issues, or pet-on-pet incidents.
Salty Paws Co. is not liable for injury, illness, escape, property damage, or death except in cases of gross negligence. Maximum liability shall not exceed the total fees paid for the affected service period.
